In time, software companies stop supporting the older versions, and some even go out of business. When this happens, the company has to segregate the data into silos or risk becoming a cyber hacker’s next target.<\/p>\n

Data silos hurt staff productivity and create a highly manual process to access and copy the information into the software. After all, the systems cannot be connected to the network in any way or they risk a hack’s penetrating the system.<\/p>\n
